We created "Hameaboot - The place to find things in Shetland" to give Shetland people a place to easily find Shetland business details, products, services and special offers. It also gives businesses a controllable, cost effective and easy way to communicate what they offer to their customers.

The website has a customisable home page with background images from local photographers, an option to sign up for the 'Hameaboot Weekly Deals' email which lists special offers from local businesses, news, weather, business tweets, Google search, Shetland search (which searches pages submitted by local organisations), directory search by business name, business type or category and shopping search by category, product or business.
